In November of 1978, Armstrong Township purchased 29.6 acres of land at the intersection of Parkwood and Hickory Roads. Today this is the site of the Donald Harris, Jr. Park, the Armstrong Township Maintenance facility, and the Armstrong Township Office. The Park offers ballfields, picnic pavilions, children’s playground equipment and rest facilities. The township is always looking toward the future and expansion projects.
